Covid-19
Aware of the current situation and the rapid spread of the Covid-19 virus, the need to equip the largest number of people with protective visors has come to us under the initiative of the Maker Portugal Movement.

A prototype design that was developed by Bruno Horta in conjunction with the community on March 22, this is a mold made in just 2 days that arrives at Plastidom, on the 27th Friday of the same month.

Grandesign and 3DTAVII, were the companies that supported and made available some of their means in order to increase and give industrial scale that this project needed, with the effort of so many other Companies and other individuals
Anonymous donations for the production of these protective visors have made it possible to move forward.

In this way, internally Plastidom outlined a quick production and assembly plan, achieving a large-scale manufacturing rate.

The result of the production is being made available for free and its distribution is being organized and coordinated by the services of the Municipal Chamber of Leiria (through Mr. Vereador Carlos Palheira).

We are, however, available together and coordinating with the Maker Movement to bring visors to other parts of the country, our concern is with those who really need “Now at the moment” equipment.
